I announced on July 22nd that Facebook had blocked me due to what they considered misuse.  Here it is August 1 and I still can’t add friends.  I even went 48 hours with adding one friend suggestion.  Yeah, the are starting to pile up but I am saving them for when I am no longer blocked.  I am wondering if adding all of them will only get me blocked again.  I just don’t freaking get it.  I only request to add people I REALLY know or those who have been suggested.  For this they ban me for 10 days from adding friend suggestions and game invites?  WTF?  I am not a SPAMMER going willy nilly across Facebook pages adding people who don’t know me.  GEEZ.

I am STILL blocked from adding new friends - even those suggested from other friends.  I haven’t tried to add somebody in over 48 hours and this is the message i just got when trying to add a suggested friend:

I’ve been using third party applications, but now I am getting warned for misusing site features.

It is a violation of Facebook’s Terms of Use to repeatedly sent the same message or make the same post. Facebook prides itself on protecting users from spam and behavior that may be construed as abusive or annoying, and we take this standard very seriously.

While we realize that there are applications that provide links for users to send out, we ask that you not repeatedly send these links in messages or post them on Walls or in Discussion Boards. If you continue to engage in this type of activity, your account may be permanently disabled. We appreciate your cooperation going forward.

So, everybody who is waiting on me to add suggested friends or Admins of the Day I still have your emails and will add you as soon as Facebook allows me too. It will be better than three days from now before I try again - I don’t want banned for good
